Apply for Membership

Under the Criminal Justice Act, we require all new members to provide the following documentation when opening an account. There will be no exceptions to this and Membership of Kilmallock Credit Union will not be processed until the appropriate forms of ID have been received.

Members must live or work within the Kilmallock Postal District of 1970.

Adults:

  • Current Passport or Drivers Licence
  • Current Utility Bill or Bank Statement showing your current address (dated less than 3 months old)
  • Copy of your PPS number

Children:

  • Current Passport or Birth Certificate
  • Parents – Current Photo ID, proof of PPS (of parents), Current Utility Bill or Bank Statement showing the current address (dated less than 3 months old)
  • Copy of PPS Number for Child

Joint Accounts – For Both Applicants:

  • Current Passport or Drivers Licence
  • Current Utility Bill or Bank Statement showing the current address (dated less than 3 months old)
  • Copy of PPS Number

Please be aware that our staff are obliged to comply fully with all aspects of the Criminal Justice Act and you will be asked for documentation if you change address or open up a further account.

All transactions, including foreign exchange, are subject to this Act.

Documentation must be reviewed and approved by the Membership Committee prior to account opening. Please submit the documentation to our office and we will contact you once your membership is approved.

A Membership fee of €0.50c and a minimum opening balance of €5 are required to open an account. Each member will also be asked to complete a Nomination Form once the account is opened.
