Gather your Documents
As part of the application process, you will be required to provide the following documents.
Photographic Proof of IdentityCurrent Driver's Licence or Passport. Public Services Card cannot be accepted.
Proof of AddressA utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 6 months.
Proof of PPS NumberCan be found on a payslip, medical card, E111 card – we cannot accept the Public Services Card.
Apply Online / In-App
You can apply for your Current Account through our online banking portal or in-app. Please click the button below. In-App: open your app and follow the instructions.
Confirmation
You will receive your Mastercard® Debit Card in the post within 5-7 working days. Details on how to obtain your PIN by SMS text message will be included in the documentation accompanying the card.
Gather your Documents

Register for Online Banking & Apply Online
You can register for your Online Banking access by clicking the link below & then download our mobile app. Once you have completed your online banking registration, you can open your Current Account online or in-app.

Join us Online or Call into us
You will need to become a member of Kilmallock Credit Union to open a Current Account. You can join us online by clicking the link below or pop into any of our offices with the relevant documentation to join and open your current account at the same time.
Confirmation
You will receive your Mastercard® Debit Card in the post within 5-7 working days. Details on how to obtain your PIN by SMS text message will be included in the documentation accompanying the card.
Please Note: Members can apply through our online platform, if you are over 16 years of age and applying for and individual current account. Alternatively, if you wish to apply for a joint account (both parties must be over 18 years of age), please call into one of our offices.
If you are 3 – 15 years of age, you must call into one of our offices with a parent/guardian to sign a parental consent form. You can download this form and parents must bring proof of ID and proof of address.
Joint Current Account
Joint current accounts are available. These must be opened in-branch. Both parties must hold or open a Kilmallock Credit Union account first.
Both parties will need:
- Photo I.D: A valid passport/passport card, drivers licence, National Identity Card
- Proof of Address: A utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 6 months.
- Proof of PPSN: any official document with your PPSN.
- Eircode: please know your Eircode or find it here.
Please Note: A Public Services Card cannot be accepted as per Section 263 of the Social Welfare Consolidation Act 2005.
Digital Wallets – Apply Pay, Google Pay and Fitbit Pay
A safer, contactless way to pay.
You can use your Apple device, Google PayTM and Fitbit PayTM to make contactless payments wherever you see the contactless payment mark. Available now with your Current Account debit card from your Credit Union!
